There are several things you can do to prolong the life of your clipper batteries, which in turn, help prolong the life of your clipper.
First, only plug your clipper in when charging is needed. It is best not to leave it plugged in at all time. If your clipper is cord/cordless capable, you can plug your clipper in and keep using it when necessary.
Always, always, always store your clipper in a cool, dry place away from heat sources or direct sunlight. If you are storing your clipping long term, you should get it out every six months or so and give it a partial recharge.
Lastly, and we cannot stress this enough, you can extend the life of your clipper battery by keeping those blades clean and oiled at all times. A clean, well-oiled blade helps alleviate burden on your clipper and helps it work smarter, not harder.
